Krista Martynes has been invited to play at the Sound Ways Festival in St Petersburg, Russia. Collaborating with the festival organisers in Venice in 2007, Krista has been invited to play a variety of french composers pieces for clarinet and live electronics.

Krista Martynes performed in the SOUNDPLAY Festival in Toronto, ON. The festival has many branches throughout the year including a fesival on radio, video and a symposium on fixed and live electronics. This month's video festival featured a new commission by the SOCAN for the piece Refuge, a collaboration of Krista Martynes and composed Julien-Robert Legault Salvail.

Krista Martynes has recently received the Encore Grant from the American Composers Forum funding the 2010 Five-City Tour of CLAREMIX, performing Bryan Jacob's new piece WAYS for two bass clarinets and live electronics. The program including pieces by John Zorn, Beat Furrer and Justine F. Chen were performed in Boston, New York City, Washington, DC, Charlottesviille, and Minneapolis.
